Matt Brown
SENIOR PASTOR
Matt Brown was ordained in 1998 and has planted and pastored churches in New York for more than twenty years. He and his wife, Deb, met while attending college in New York and leading youth ministries together in Brooklyn. They raised three children (Flannery, Charlotte and Walker) in God’s Favorite Borough and are excited to be part of this new church community. Say hello.
-
Anna Anderson
MUSIC DIRECTOR
Anna Anderson is a songwriter, pianist, and teacher and lives in Greenpoint with her husband, Patrick, and their 3 kids. She grew up in various states and a few provinces, but has happily called New York home for about 15 years . She has a background in classical piano and holds a Masters of Music in Theory and Composition (NYU). She considers it an enormous privilege to be able to work with the church as the director of music. Say hello.
-
Kaytie Eaton
HOSPITALITY and ADMIN DIRECTOR
Kaytie Eaton has worked in church ministry for over 10 years. She and her husband, Tom, are grateful to be raising their three children with Brooklyn accents, advanced scooter skills, and an uncanny knowledge of where to find the best ice-cream trucks. Say hello.
-
Sam K.
FAMILY MINISTRIES DIRECTOR
Sam hails of Michigan (go blue!) and has happily called New York home for 7 years. In those 7 years, she has become a Sunday school teacher, a wedding planner, and a volleyball coach. She considers it an enormous privilege to have been a part of so many childhoods, and aims to serve the families of our church with humility, joy, and a little bit of mischief. Say hello.
-
Brittany Knott
COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
Brittany was born and raised in the rural south but has called Brooklyn home for the past ten years. She and her husband have two daughters and are in the process of adopting. Her happy place is the Carolina coast or eating in Brooklyn al fresco…or doing the dishes while listening to a Dateline podcast. Say hello.
-
Kendall Seely
YOUTH DIRECTOR
Kendall spent the majority of her childhood overseas in Budapest, Hungary where she learned the value and necessity of living in community (especially multi generational community). She has lived in NYC for 11 years and currently resides in BedStuy with her 3 roommates (her brother, her best friend and her best friend's sister) and their cat. When she isn’t hanging with your teens at church, she is probably at a Broadway show, watching people perform improv or hosting a dinner party at her house and forcing guests to talk about the importance of friendship and good wine. She’s excited to love and serve the church as our Youth Director. Say hello.
-
Natalie Williams
COMMUNITY SERVICE DIRECTOR
Natalie is a Texan-turned-New Yorker who has called Brooklyn home for the past 10 years. On any given day, you’ll likely find her digging through vintage store bins, unwinding at the Russian baths, or performing as a singer-songwriter. She has been part of the CTK community since 2021 and is honored to step into a role that reflects the church’s deep-rooted conviction—serving others, together. Say hello.
