Matt Brown

Senior Pastor

Matt Brown was ordained in 1998 and has planted and pastored churches in New York for more than twenty years. He and his wife, Deb, met while attending college in New York and leading youth ministries together in Brooklyn. They raised three children (Flannery, Charlotte and Walker) in God’s Favorite Borough and are excited to be part of this new church community. Say hello.

Nina Negri

Music Director

Nina Negri has lived in New York City for 24 years. She is a professional singer with credits including: Coram Boy(Original Broadway Cast), Les Misérables(Broadway National Tour), 3 Mo' Divas, Kismet(Encores!), Of Thee I Sing(Encores!), West Side Story (Trinity Rep & Alabama Shakespeare Festival), Good Vibrations(New York Stage and Film), The King and I (Stratford Festival of Canada, Theatre By the Sea & National Asian Artists Project). Nina is also a voice instructor and was the vocal coach for Dragon Spring Phoenix Rise (Hudson Yards, The Shed). Nina is a proud Korean American follower of Jesus. She is so grateful for the opportunity to combine her two biggest passions, Jesus and music, and share them with you. Graduate of the Manhattan School of Music (Bachelor of Music). Say hello.

Rudder Jenkins

Hospitality Director

Rudder Jenkins moved to his wife's home town (Brooklyn) a little over two years ago. He has worked in teaching and ministry for 15 years, most recently defending his PhD in History, Religions and Philosophies from SOAS, University of London. While studying the early church in seminary, he discovered the beauty and power of biblical hospitality. When he is not working on his book the subject, you will find Rudder, Jen and their son, Eli, hosting dinner parties on their roof, social gatherings in the park and mixers at a local watering hole. Post-Covid, expect to share fellowship at their family table.  Say hello.

Deborah Brown

Family Ministry Director

Deborah Brown is a primary art school teacher, mother of three children and has many years' experience leading children and family ministries. She is happiest when painting and encouraging kids to explore their gifts and talents. Say hello.

Kaytie Eaton

Administration Director

Kaytie Eaton has worked in non-profit administration for over 10 years. She and her husband, Tom, are grateful to be raising their three children with Brooklyn accents, advanced scooter skills, and an uncanny knowledge of where to find the best ice-cream trucks. Say hello.
